We are now half way to Autumn!
Just as we are coming out of Mercury Retrograde, its time to celebrate the first harvest of the year. We start to see what is happening since we set our intentions back in Yule. There is an abundance of wealth, with some goals evolving or coming to completion. Its also a great time to really see what isn't working for you.
"Lammas is one of the sacred days on the Pagan Wheel of the Year. It falls on the 1st of August for the Northern Hemisphere and the 1st of February in the Southern Hemisphere. Lammas or Lughnasadh is the first Harvest Sabbat on the Wheel of the Year. It marks the midway point from the Summer Solstice and the Autumn Equinox." - Ethony
The names Lammas comes from the Pagan name for the first harvest. While Lughnasadh is from Gaelic Tradition.
So what can you do to celebrate this First Harvest?
If this is your first time celebrating Lammas/Lughnasadh, then here are a few ways you can incorporate the harvest vibes!
Journal - Focus on the things that are working for you and how you can continue you to grow them. Also, look at the things are not working for you. Is it time to let them go?
Do candle magick - purchase a small yellow candle, write on pieces of paper what you want to manifest during the last half of summer. Place the pieces of paper, beside or under the candle. Then let the candle burn right down. Place the candle and pieces of paper at your altar, as leave them there for the duration of the month.
Read your cards - below I have done a spread for Lammas/Lughnasadh. Once you have completed the spread put the cards on your altar for the rest of the week. The energy of the reading with help guide you through Lammas/Lughnasadh.

Have a wonderful Lammas/Lughnasadh!
Love and Light,
