The Sun Sign is the traditional sign used to summarise a general overview of someone’s personality. But one sign cannot completely define a person’s personality. Taking a step back, astrology mixes star signs and planets to help an individual understand what drives them. It also helps them align themselves with the energy of planets and seasonal shifts – its really powerful stuff!

The Sun tells us of the actual core of a person, the inner self, of that which is of central concern. It also shows us the general vitality and the ability to assert oneself, it describes a general tone of being which colours everything else - Astro.com

I used to always resonate with the Sun Sign, I would be like “I am a fully a Gemini through and through”. Which when I look back at, its kind of cute in a naïve way.

We are individuals, astrology shows us many traits that are quite common under certain houses and signs. What you as an individual should understand is that the Sun is your foundations. When shit hits the fan, or when you are so in the moment it’s your Sun sign shines bright and clear.

So let’s combine what we have currently learned, our Rising Sign is the societal personality that we want to project to the world and our Sun Sign is our core personality that comes from inside of us. Combining these two signs we are already see how complex and unique every individual is!
